Theinfluence of physical properties of ZnO films on the efficiency of planar ZnO/Perovskite/P3HTsolar cell

ZnO thin filmsprepared by pulsed laser deposition at low temperature are utilized as the electron transport layer in CH3NH3PbI3-xClx-basedperovskite solar cells with a planar heterojunction structure. Oxygenpressure greatly influences the transparent and conductive properties of ZnOfilms, which are extremely important as electrontransport layer for the perovskite solar cells. The transparent and conductiveproperties of the films under differentoxygen pressures are studied by ultraviolet-visiblespectrophotometer and Hall effect measurement system. Through controlling theoxygen pressure, transparent ZnO films with high conductivity are grown andadopted as electron transport layerfor planar perovskite solar cell with a power conversion efficiency of 6.3%. Afterfurther surface modification of ZnO electrontransport layer with [6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester, the efficiencyof the planar solar cell increases to 7.5%.
